Let's Get Acquainted
Hi. My name is Sidney. I really, really love reading books and chatting people up. If I had to describe myself I would say I am complicated and simple. So, very evidently, I am not good at that. However, what I can do is tell you about the people who make me who I am.
- Kingston Charles: The very best of me. My baby boy. He is smart and loving and ridiculously goofy. He has the kind of innocent joy we read about. His curly hair catches your attention and his eyes captivate you - but, that personality is the real star.
- Pop: My diddy. They don't make 'em like him anymore. He is a GOOD man. He stands on business. His persona commands a room. He can fit in with anyone and he makes everyone laugh. The kind of man out of the Hallmark movies. Just good. He leads our tribe with bold faith.
- Yaya: My hero. I could endlessly write love letters to my mother. She is insanely brave and a whole lot of drama. She loves to do and be everything for everyone. She ALWAYS smells good and she can tell a mean bedtime story. She answers the phone in the midnight hours and deploys angels on my behalf. She makes the perfect pancake and the perfect home. I literally pray I can be half the mom my mom is.
- Aaron: My first brother in law. He will brave the snow if I am just 1% scared. He works tirelessly and loves tremendously. He is creative and brilliant.
- Mal: I have never met anyone more selfless. She gives and gives and gives. She is patient and faithful. She teaches through actions and she loves out loud. She puts up with literally no nonsense and is the CEO of our family.
- Aiden: This boy changed the way I see the world. Our little miracle.
- Billy: Man- this guy. Billy silently takes care of everything I don't even know how to think about. He prays. A lot. And I can feel it. He always checks in.
